KPOT offers both worlds of Korean BBQ and Asian Hot Pot.

What is Hot Pot? Hot pot is an Asian cooking method, prepared with a simmering pot of soup stock at the dining table, containing a variety of East Asian foods and ingredients.

Korean barbecue known locally as (????) gogi-gui, "Meat Roast", refers to the Korean cuisine method of grilling meat such as beef, chicken or pork, that you prepare yourself at your table. Our menu offers an extensive selection of fresh quality meats, seafood, noodles, and vegetables for Hot Pot and BBQ experience.

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized

Host

to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements while maintaining a smooth flow of service.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the Aloha POS system or similar POS technology. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and menu options. Ensure that all guests receive prompt and courteous service throughout their visit. Coordinate with the kitchen and wait staff to maintain smooth operations. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring positive guest relations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist in training new staff members on guest service standards and procedures.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding guest services and enhancing guest relations.

Pay: $19.32 - $23.26 per hour
