We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.
Responsibilities
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
Provide accurate wait times and maintain communication with guests while they wait.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with inquiries and reservations.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
Assist in guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing orders and reservations effectively.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
Background in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of guest services principles and practices is desirable.
