We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and assist with seating arrangements while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the menu and specials.
Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including the host stand.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating strong guest relations skills.
Assist in managing waitlists during peak hours while keeping guests informed of their wait times.
Provide support to the restaurant team as needed to enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
