We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. As a Host, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within our restaurant or hospitality environment by managing guest flow, coordinating reservations, and providing exceptional customer service. Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel valued and comfortable Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Escort guests to their tables and provide menus, answering initial questions about the menu or specials Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely seating and service Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure guest areas are welcoming and tidy Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to ensure satisfaction

Skills

Previous experience as a Host or Host in food service or restaurant environments Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Knowledge of hospitality standards, including guest relations and serving protocols Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail Experience working in hotels or similar guest-focused environments is a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
