Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. As a Host, you will play a crucial role in managing guest flow, seating arrangements, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage the seating chart and assign tables based on guest preferences and server availability. Answer phone calls promptly with proper phone etiquette, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area. Assist with guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns in a friendly manner. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Utilize POS systems for managing reservations and orders efficiently.

Experience

Previous host/host experience preferred, with a strong background in food service or restaurant environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with hospitality standards and practices is highly desirable. Experience in hotel guest services or serving can be an asset. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
