We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure that the dining area is welcoming and organized. A passion for hospitality and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
Duties
Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests.
Assist in coordinating the flow of guests to ensure a smooth dining experience.
Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
Uphold cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area.
Provide exceptional guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Experience
Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for this position.
