We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage reservations, greet customers, and assist in maintaining a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times, menu options, and special requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, ensuring it is presentable at all times. Assist servers and kitchen staff by relaying guest requests and managing the flow of service during busy periods. Utilize POS system for managing reservations and tracking guest preferences when necessary. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests.

Qualifications

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is required. Familiarity with POS systems and Open Table. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette when taking reservations or answering inquiries. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest services are essential for success in this role. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate restaurant hours.
