Duties

Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and a friendly attitude Manage reservation systems and waitlists efficiently using our POS system Toast Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the menu or restaurant offerings Coordinate with the service team to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to ensure a welcoming environment Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated

Skills

Previous experience as a Host or in a similar host/host role within food service or restaurant environments Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members Familiarity with our POS system such as Open Table Experience in hotel or guest services is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in hospitality settings Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of serving protocols, restaurant operations, and hospitality best practices is highly desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
