Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive at Saltwater Cowboys. Your primary responsibility will be to manage customer requests, greet guests, and maintain an efficient flow of service in our restaurant. This position requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest relations.

Responsibilities

Greeting customers and making them feel welcome Understanding table numbers and server sections- seating tables in rotation to balance business Providing exceptional hospitality in accommodating their needs as guests, regardless of party size Understanding our waitlist policies: adding guests to the waitlist and quoting accurate times Maintaining the host stand area clean and organized Cleaning bathrooms periodically and restocking material cabinets Quickly and efficiently seating tables while connecting with our guests

Ability to stand and be active for consecutive hours Sense of urgency with job responsibilities Dependable way to commute to work People skills/hospitality experience
