TANA is a small business in Metairie, LA. We are professional, agile, professional. We are an Upscale Italian restaurant focusing on the cuisines of New Orleans, Sicily, and the Ligurian Coast, featuring a full pasta production station in the dining room, table side cooking, 2000 bottle wine room and an after hours lounge with a full craft cocktail program..

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or waiting areas
- Provide menus and assist with seating arrangements
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner
- Assist with any other tasks assigned by management

Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong guest relations skills to provide exceptional hospitality
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar restaurant point-of-sale systems
- Customer service experience in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills to manage waitlists and seating arrangements
