Position Overview:

Centro on the Square is seeking a friendly, polished, and professional Host/Hostess to be the welcoming face of our restaurant. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, and passionate about creating an excellent first impression for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments Answer phone calls and assist guests with inquiries Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entry area Communicate table statuses with servers, bussers, and management Escort guests to tables and provide menus Monitor guest flow and adjust seating as needed Provide excellent customer service and resolve minor guest concerns Assist with to-go orders when needed Support the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service

Qualifications

Previous hosting or customer service experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay calm and friendly in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and demeanor Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for long periods and move around the restaurant

Schedule & Compensation

Part-time or full-time positions available Must be available for nights, weekends, and peak business hours Competitive hourly pay based on experience Opportunity for growth within the company
