Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring excellent guest relations. This role is essential in providing a positive first impression and coordinating the flow of guests within the establishment. Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or restaurant settings is preferred, along with strong communication skills and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. A background in hotel guest services or serving is a plus. The Host will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and menu offerings Maintain a clean and organized host station and waiting area Coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth flow of guests Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and provide accurate information Assist in guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests promptly Support the restaurant team during busy periods by managing guest flow and seating assignments

Requirements

Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service/hospitality roles is preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is advantageous Experience in hotel guest services or serving is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.01 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 24 per week
