What you'll do

Greet guests with enthusiasm and warmth, creating a friendly atmosphere that enhances their dining experience. Manage reservations efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems to ensure smooth operations. Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest comfort while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about menu offerings and making reservations as needed. Assist in managing guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and effectively. Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction throughout their visit. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area to create an inviting environment for all guests.

Experience

Previous experience as a host/host in a restaurant or hotel setting is highly desirable. Strong background in food service and customer service, demonstrating your ability to connect with guests. Excellent communication skills that allow you to interact positively with diverse clientele. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus; training will be provided if necessary. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
