Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring excellent guest relations. This role is essential in providing a positive first impression and maintaining smooth operations within our restaurant or hospitality environment. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and provide accurate information about the establishment Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and guest flow Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction Assist with guest services, including providing directions or recommendations as needed Support the front-of-house team in maintaining a hospitable environment

Qualifications

Previous host/host experience preferred, especially in food service or restaurant settings Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Experience with Tock Reservation system is a plus Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Friendly demeanor with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences Basic knowledge of serving, guest services, and hospitality standards is desirable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $7.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 10 per week
