Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude, making them feel valued from the moment they walk in Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring smooth flow of seating Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating arrangements and reduce wait times Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication, providing accurate information about wait times or menu options Maintain a clean, organized host stand and ensure all guest areas are welcoming and well-presented Handle guest concerns or special requests with positive problem-solving skills, escalating issues when necessary Assist in maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols, supporting a hospitable environment

Experience

Prior experience as a host or host in a food service or restaurant setting is highly preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and phone etiquette Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Experience in hotel or guest services roles can be beneficial for understanding guest relations Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest interaction best practices is desirable Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a lively, positive demeanor

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 32 per week
