We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a positive dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and maintain the flow of the dining area while providing exceptional customer service.
Duties
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
Assist with guest inquiries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations.
Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions about the menu and services.
Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing orders and reservations efficiently.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest relations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is a plus.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience in restaurant or hotel settings is advantageous.
A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
