Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest services in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS, to manage guest check-ins and track wait times. Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service. Handle guest relations with professionalism, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Support the restaurant team in maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout the dining experience.

Experience

Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette, are essential for this role. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
