We are seeking a friendly, professional Host/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring smooth seating operations to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Provide attentive guest service by answering phone inquiries with proper phone etiquette and addressing guest needs promptly Maintain a clean and organized host stand area Coordinate with the restaurant team to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of guests Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns professionally to foster positive guest relations Assist in maintaining a welcoming environment that reflects the hospitality standards of the establishment Support other front-of-house duties as needed to ensure excellent guest experiences

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Host/Host or in food service/hospitality is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Experience in hotel or guest services is advantageous Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and friendly demeanor Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
