We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.
Duties
Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems, including Aloha POS.
Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations when necessary.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization in the host/host area.
Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service and guest relations.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries and reservations.
A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding service in food service settings.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
