Job Description


Morlen Health is currently seeking a Board Certified/ Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our medical group as a Hospitalist in Portland, Oregon.

The primary location for this role will be at Kaiser Westside Medical Center. You may also be asked to work at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center as we need to have flexibility with our Inpatient team.

The Hospitalist team achieves its purpose by providing acute care to medical patients, offering timely consultation for hospitalized patients on other services and providing admitting/consulting services for Emergency Department patients. The team also work to facilitate the transition of care between inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition, we play an active role in improving overall hospital quality and utilization in collaborative partnership with physicians, hospital staff and administration.

In this role, you will join a team who consistently provide high quality, excellent, compassionate, and efficient care with sensitivity and understanding for hospitalized patients and their families, seeking to ensure that patients are satisfied with the information and explanations provided regarding their care.

As a Hospitalist, efficiency in work life is valued by the team. Hospitalists work closely with our RN care coordinators who facilitate smooth transitions from the inpatient to the outpatient setting. Epic is the electronic medical record system and patients\xe2\x80\x99 inpatient and outpatient records are immediately available with a single-click of the mouse.

All applicants must have experience with digital technologies (examples include telehealth and/or digital health). You will need to demonstrate both flexibility and adaptability to incorporate these into your practice as we continue to evolve our virtual care model. A comfort level with concurrent documentation is also needed for this role.

Salary range: $268,500- $304,800 (1.0 FTE)

Additional Lifestyle $20,000 annually
