Morlen Health is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join the team as a hospital nocturnist. Morlen Health is a physician led medical group located in Portland OR in the Pacific Northwest. Hospital Medicine Nocturnist Responsibilities:

In this Hospitalist Nocturnist role, you will consistently provide high quality, excellent, compassionate, and efficient care with sensitivity and understanding for hospitalized patients and their families, seeking to ensure that patients are satisfied with the information and explanations provided regarding their care. You will benefit from a comprehensive network of support services and a talented team of colleagues who share your passion for medicine and patient care.

The inpatient team achieves its purpose by providing acute care to medical patients, offering timely consultation for hospitalized patients on other services and providing admitting/consulting services for Emergency Department patients. The team also work to facilitate the transition of care between inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition, the team play an active role in improving overall hospital quality and utilization through cooperation with physicians, hospital staff and administration.

In this Hospitalist position, you will work closely with RN care coordinators who facilitate smooth transitions from the inpatient to the outpatient setting. Epic is the electronic medical record system and the patients\xe2\x80\x99 inpatient, and outpatient records are immediately available with a single click of the mouse.

This is a full -time permanent position located in either the Portland Metro, OR or Vancouver WA

Salary range: $335,700- $381,000

Lifestyle annual bonus $20,000
