Overview:



The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional responsible for delivering both direct and indirect knowledge to clients within their home setting, following the organization's policies and procedures. The nurse educates, encourages, and supports clients in maintaining their health and preventing illness, with the goal of enhancing their ability to live independently at home. When a Caregiver is part of the client's plan of care, the nurse provides supervision and direction. Depending on state regulations, nurses may also carry out administrative duties and/or field responsibilities.

Accurately document all nursing care/tasks provided, client health status, and communications with families/caregivers and physicians. Perform nursing assessments as required. Ensure all documentation accurately reflects care provided and meets company, regulatory, and payer requirements. Use proper body mechanics to ensure safety and prevent injury to self and clients. Notify Care Coordinators, the Office Manager, and the Administrator when clients are hospitalized. Adhere to organizational policies, state guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with Client Care Coordinators, the Office Manager, and the Administrator in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs and services. Record client progress toward established goals, outcomes, and report changes in condition to the team. Maintain equipment and supplies in accordance with infection control standards. Maintain confidentiality of client information and uphold patient rights. Conduct supervisory visits per compliance standards, review plans of care, and complete required monthly, quarterly visits, and annual assessments of care plans. Provide health education to clients, supporting the development of appropriate self-care techniques and safety practices. Provide new employee training, annual re-certification, and competency validation for health and safety topics. Report incidents in accordance with operational procedures and regulatory standards. Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, and other required meetings. Complete care plans at the start of care and during annual re-evaluations, as required by state regulations. Qualifications:



Nursing degree from an accredited program. Current, active, and unrestricted nursing license in the state of Idaho. Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred. Solid clinical knowledge and skills. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills. Prior home care experience is preferred. Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. General computer proficiency with the ability to learn industry-specific software and documentation systems. Ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with individuals at all levels, both inside and outside the organization. Salary range: $34-$38/hour
