Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Holiday Lighting Lead Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of all installation methods for residential and commercial properties, including houses, trees, bushes, and buildings. This role involves hands-on installation, technical problem-solving, and guiding a team to ensure flawless holiday lighting displays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute holiday lighting installations on various property types, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of all installation techniques for rooftops, gutters, trees, shrubs, facades, and commercial structures.
- Assist in planning and organizing installation projects, including site assessments and material preparation.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair lighting systems, electrical connections, and mounting hardware.
- Ensure all installations comply with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing technical guidance and training.
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and safety gear required for installations.
- Perform quality inspections before, during, and after installation to meet customer expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their design preferences and project requirements.
- Document installation procedures and assist in developing best practices for the team.
Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with all forms of holiday lighting installation, including rooflines, gutters, trees, bushes, and building facades.
- Strong electrical knowledge, including wiring, electrical safety, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work at heights, in various weather conditions, and lift heavy equipment.
- Leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Electrical or technical background.
- Prior experience leading seasonal or holiday installation crews.
- Knowledge of lighting design and aesthetic principles.
