SUMMARY Hope & Help is expanding exponentially, and we hope you can help us grow. This role reports to and works closely with the Senior Director of Strategy and Compliance and is responsible and accountable for the final approval for overall designing, implementing, and managing integrated development plans including, but not limited to, marketing, events, fundraisers, HIV/AIDS awareness activities, public relations/media correspondence, social media content publication, marketing/brand messaging, legacy giving, and annual education/giving campaigns. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 1. Direct and manage all operations of the Development and Marketing Department. 2. Develop and manage Development and Marketing Department budget to ensure conformity with agency requirements. 3. Responsible for the timely rebranding of Hope & Help, including planning and marketing initiatives for a consistent message and increase in the brand awareness of Hope & Help 4. Responsible for developing and managing the consistent online presence of Hope & Help, including Hope & Help\xe2\x80\x99s website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. 5. Responsible for all marketing initiatives, identifying potential sources of demand and articulating a strategy for branding, marketing, and public relations; created a streamlined, consistent message to clients, potential clients, community partners, and donors. 6. Represent Hope & Help through various speaking engagements related to development and business relationship recruitment, including representing Hope & Help at community partnership meetings and events such as The Pride Chamber and HIV Planning Council. 7. Report the status of the Development and Marketing Department to the Senior Director of Strategy and Compliance, Executive Director, and Board of Directors 8. Network/partner with other HIV/AIDS resources agencies and local social service agencies to enhance, facilitate, and expand agency awareness and services, including identifying potential partnership opportunities. 9. Participate with senior management team members in developing and implementing organization-wide policies and programs that will contribute to the overall success of the development and marketing department. 10. Manage and direct all marketing initiatives; identify potential sources of demand; articulate strategy for branding, marketing, and public relations; create a streamlined, consistent message to clients, potential clients, community partners, and donors. 11. Oversee and maintain a consistent and constant relationship with the general public through various methods of outreach including, but not limited to, marketing, events, fundraisers, HIV/AIDS awareness activities, public relations/media correspondence, social media content publication, marketing/brand messaging, and annual education/giving campaigns. 12. Responsible for all public relations (PR) copy and marketing communications in conjunction with the Senior Director of Strategy and Compliance and Executive Director 13. Plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of annual fundraising events ( Example: AIDs Walk Orlando ) to meet annual income projections for our Patience Assistant Program. 14. Identity, cultivate, solicit, sustain, and steward existing and new individual, foundation, and corporate donors; maintain a portfolio of corporate and individual donors. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Performs other work-related duties and special projects as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position supervises those in the Community Development Department, consisting of a Marketing & Event and a Social Media and Marketing Specialist. ABILITY TO: \xc3\xb0 Communicate effectively both orally and in writing \xc3\xb0 Organize and lead volunteers, staff, Board, and community leaders to expand our message, fundraising, and outreach efforts \xc3\xb0 Meet time schedules and deadlines, and plan and organize work \xc3\xb0 Work confidently with discretion and independently with little direction \xc3\xb0 Work cooperatively with others using tact, patience, and courtesy \xc3\xb0 Maintain current knowledge of technological advances in the field \xc3\xb0 Work with confidential data with discretion \xc3\xb0 Locate and use sources for prospective grantors/donors for annual events \xc3\xb0 Write public relations (PR) and marketing communications \xc3\xb0 Communicate and work effectively with a diverse population varying in age, physical/mental health, lifestyles, and cultural/ethnic backgrounds \xc3\xb0 Compose a variety of attractive and compelling written materials, including usage of superior vocabulary, grammatical, and proofreading skills \xc3\xb0 Plan, solicit, and coordinate donations for the agency \xc3\xb0 Be sensitive to issues involved in working in a multicultural, community-based organization \xc3\xb0 Manage a complex workload with high production requirements EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, English, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field and a minimum of two (2) two years experience in development/fundraising activities, including event planning, communications, and marketing, or a minimum of five (5) years experience in development/fundraising activities, including event planning, communications, or marketing in lieu of a Bachelor\'s degree. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, and REGISTRATIONS A valid Florida Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License is required.
