Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and creative Communications and Development Manager to join the Ed Farm team. As a Communications and Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our marketing, communications, and development strategy in order to increase our digital presence and improve our development efforts in the community. The Communications and Development Manager will work closely with the Senior Manager of Community Engagement to develop and implement plans to engage our stakeholders and increase our visibility.

The Communications and Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing communications and development strategies that effectively promote the company\'s brand and program offerings to target audiences (e.g marketing assets, events, proposals, grants, etc.). The successful candidate will have a strong background in marketing, design, public relations, and communications, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.



Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies that align with Ed Farm\xe2\x80\x99s goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with the program teams to develop marketing materials and campaigns that support lead generation and reporting.
    • Write and edit marketing collateral, including press releases, articles, blog posts, social media content, and other marketing communications materials.
    • Manage Ed Farm\xe2\x80\x99s social media presence, including developing and executing social media campaigns that increase brand awareness and engagement.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and other key stakeholders to promote Ed Farm\xe2\x80\x99s products and programs.
    • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing and communication strategies and make recommendations for future improvements.
    • Draft grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and other fundraising materials..
    • Manage Ed Farm\xe2\x80\x99s website, including creating and updating content, optimizing for SEO, and tracking website analytics.
    • Assist the Sr. Manager of Community Engagement with company events, including trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
    • Manage the marketing and communications budget, ensuring that all activities are cost-effective and align with the company\'s overall financial goals.




Requirements:

    • Proven work experience in Marketing or Communications.
    • Fluid in Apple Work (Keynote, Pages, Numbers).
    • Expertise in managing and scaling multiple social media platforms.
    • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics.
    • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
    • Proficiency in the Adobe Suite and Canva.
    • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels, website analytics tools, and CRM systems such as HubSpot.
    • Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Multitasking and analytical skills.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
