About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and dependable Heavy Wrecker Driver to join our growing recovery operations team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and customer service. You'll be responsible for operating heavy-duty wreckers to recover and transport disabled, damaged, or illegally parked vehicles -- including tractor-trailers and other large commercial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy-duty wreckers and recovery equipment safely and efficiently Respond to emergency roadside service calls, accidents, and breakdowns Secure and transport vehicles in compliance with DOT and company standards Communicate professionally with dispatch, law enforcement, and customers Maintain accurate service records and logs (ELD compliance) Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on equipment Willing to learn lowboy and landoll operations
Requirements

Valid CDL Class A with clean driving record Prior experience operating heavy wreckers or similar recovery equipment Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical knowledge Professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications

WreckMaster or TRAA certification Familiarity with load securement and air brake systems
