Job Description


Key Role: Provide executive-level advisory and action officer support to the front office of a research and development organization and its senior management. Advise on and systematically develop a high-risk high-reward R&D strategy in the context of health science. Support the successful design and execution of R&D programs in health science and biotechnology. Work closely with a high-performing, fast-paced team to support government clients. Perform tasks in a variety of areas, including liaising with key internal and external stakeholders, coordinating meetings, generating and consolidating briefing materials, and drafting office-level strategy documents, as needed. Design and facilitate institutional partnerships with government, commercial, and academic entities. Coordinate front office supporting staff and processes for efficiency, clarity, and resilience and support special projects for the team. Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with authoring technical papers, reports, or program plans for technical and non-technical audiences on research in health science
  • 5+ years of experience with postdoctoral, academic, or industry roles in health science
  • Ability to ask insightful questions that challenge traditional thinking
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Doctorate degree
Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with health technology development or analyzing a diverse set of health technologies
  • Experience in a consulting environment
  • Experiencing with authoring strategy documents, plans, and briefings for use by executive-level staff
  • Ability to develop and convey meaningful insights, significant contributions, and recommendations to address complex client issues
  • Ability to learn, grow, and develop new skill sets
  • Ability to display creativity and resourcefulness
  • Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, problem-solving, and client service skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Doctorate degree in Biology or a health science-related field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual\xe2\x80\x99s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,300.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen\xe2\x80\x99s total compensation package for employees. Work Model
