Overview:
Benedictine is seeking a data-driven, process-oriented individual to join our growing team.
As a Health Information Technician (HIT) you will be responsible for the coordination of Health Information services across our system. You will focus on organizing data, tracking outcomes and partnering with clinical team members. Responsibilities:
- The HIT will audit charts and observations to ensure compliance.
- The HIT will serve as the community privacy and security officer.
- The HIT will be responsible for file maintenance and compliance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently with attention to details
- Maintain confidentiality to safeguard resident information
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
