Investment Portfolio Analyst
who is passionate about real estate, modeling, and turning data into actionable investment strategy.
What You Will Achieve in This Role
Lead Capital Strategy:
Develop and execute UnlockLand's capital-raising initiatives, including structured debt, equity, fund, and co-investment vehicles aligned with the company's growth and product roadmap.
Institutional Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, REITs, pension funds, family offices, and financial institutions across North America and globally.
Deal Structuring and Execution:
Source, structure, and negotiate joint ventures, debt facilities, and equity placements, ensuring optimal capital efficiency and alignment with strategic objectives.
Investment Governance:
Advise executive leadership on portfolio risk, asset valuation, and capital allocation strategies; establish frameworks for investment performance monitoring and reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with data science and product teams to integrate AI-driven underwriting, valuation models, and financial dashboards that enhance decision-making accuracy.
Market Intelligence:
Maintain deep awareness of capital market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory developments influencing real estate investment and technology sectors.
What You Must Bring to This Role
Minimum
10 years of progressive experience
in real estate capital markets, private equity, investment banking, or institutional finance.
Proven record of
structuring and closing large-scale real estate transactions
, including debt, equity, and joint-venture arrangements.
Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and strategic investment analysis capabilities.
Strong understanding of
North American capital markets
and access to a broad investor and lender network.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Familiarity or interest in
PropTech, AI-driven analytics, or fintech innovation
is considered a strong asset.
Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Real Estate; MBA or CFA designation is an asset.
