This position is affiliated with our West Coast location and reports directly to Lingo\xe2\x80\x99s Divisional Vice President.

As the Head of Customer Experience and Brand Strategy, you will be responsible for evolving Lingo\xe2\x80\x99s overall value proposition. You will ensure that Lingo continually meets the needs of the market and delivers on its promise to help people retrain their metabolism and achieve their goals. You will define and manage Lingo\xe2\x80\x99s positioning and make the brand a household name globally. In addition, you will partner closely with the Head of Product to help develop a compelling and differentiated product offering.

This role is critical to the success and growth of Lingo. Its scope is much broader than a typical marketing leadership role as it includes shaping what Lingo is and how it impacts people\xe2\x80\x99s lives.

You will oversee brand strategy, marketing and social campaigns, product launches, and the customer service team covering both pre-sale and post-sale touchpoints. In support of these functions, you will also manage the in-house creative studio and customer and market insights. You will work closely with the leaders of the Product and Tech teams to ensure the product meets customer needs and all brand elements are transferred to their teams and deliverables.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do

  • Define and evolve the value proposition, brand, and product positioning to create breakout market success
  • Build consumer awareness and consideration through marketing and strategic partnerships
  • Be accountable for the brand\xe2\x80\x99s health metrics worldwide
  • Own and manage Lingo\xe2\x80\x99s creative identity and in-house creative production for Lingo assets
  • Gather consumer insights on the overall market and brand via the Customer Insights team and Customer Success team to refine the proposition and shape product and go-to-market strategies
  • Develop and run online and offline brand marketing strategies to build the brand and win shares in target markets
  • Plan digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising
  • Maintain social media presence across all digital channels
  • Assume co-ownership for all B2B and B2C communication
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience, including at least 5+ years managing high-performing brand teams in roles equivalent to C-suite/leadership in a consumer-facing organization
  • Experience shaping products based on customer insights and market trends. A design-led approach is highly valued
  • Creative mindset in fast-evolving technology environments with experience in a consumer-facing organization
  • Recent experience with human health technology, sports/performance technology, connected devices, or remote monitoring is a plus
  • Relevant track record in developing a brand architecture with a meaningful top-line impact in a consumer-based setting
  • Strong understanding of customer insights, PR management, and CRM with demonstrated leadership in leading teams across multiple disciplines
  • Analytical mindset with previous experience working closely with performance marketing channels
  • Experience building strong teams in a high-growth, technology, and direct-to-consumer environment
  • Comfortable operating and influencing at the highest levels, including C-suite and internal board; able to serve in a market-facing role with partners, media, and analysts
