Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will provide leadership to grounds operations at the assigned properties in a designated area of the CNO. You will report to the Senior Grounds Manager.

Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.

Primary Tasks: * You will provide leadership and horticultural expertise to grounds maintenance personnel.

  • Oversee landscape maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Oversee installation crews and provide direction to ensure projects are completed and within cost.
  • Help obtain bids for landscape projects, coordinating contractors and organizing other teams to complete projects.
  • You will oversee and train staff at assigned area sites on long-term care, maintenance and appearance of grounds, plants and foliage.
  • Ensure properties are maintained in a first-class manner - which includes performing regular site inspections.
  • Create requisitions and control supplies.
  • Manage tools, equipment and vehicle requirements including storage and maintenance.
  • Work with Grounds Senior Manager in all aspects of planning, coordination, and implementing lawn and landscaping care.
  • Monitor expenses to meet budget guidelines.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in plant related field or 2 years of directly related experience in lieu of education
  • 5+ years\' experience working and management as part of a multi-property landscaping team.
  • Familiar with working under a standardized process.
  • Well-developed correspondence
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented, while applying sound judgment and decision-making skills to both issues that arise.
  • Must be willing to continue training in their skills to maintain knowledge in the latest equipment and technologies in their assigned tasks.
