Apple Signs Houston

is growing! We're looking for a dependable, people-first teammate who can blend

graphic design

with

front-office customer service

. You'll create print-ready artwork, support customers by phone/email and in person, prepare

estimates

, and assist our project manager on larger signage projects. At times you may conduct

site surveys

, coordinate/supervise installs, or assist with local deliveries.

What you'll do

Graphic Design & Pre-Press

Build clean, production-ready files in

Adobe Illustrator

(logos, layouts, proofs) Format art for large format print, vinyl, and common sign types Prepare client proofs and manage revisions quickly and accurately

Customer Service & Sales Support

Greet walk-ins; answer phones and emails with a friendly, solutions-oriented tone Gather specs, photos, and measurements; maintain organized customer records Create quotes/estimates and follow up with customers professionally

Project Support

Assist the project manager with schedules, purchase orders, and vendor coordination Conduct

site surveys

(measurements, photos, access notes); complete simple field forms Coordinate/supervise non-electrical installs as needed; help with local

deliveries

General Office

Keep documentation current (proof approvals, work orders, change logs) Collaborate with production to ensure files are accurate and on time Pitch in where needed--this is a team that helps each other win
What you bring

Adobe Illustrator proficiency

(required); basic Photoshop/InDesign a plus Strong

customer service

and communication skills (phone, email, in-person) Ability to

estimate

jobs using templates or spreadsheets; comfortable with numbers Organized, detail-driven, and calm under deadlines in a

fast-paced

shop Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for surveys/deliveries

Sign industry experience

is a plus, but

not required

Experience with large-format printing, vinyl, or fabrication workflows Bilingual (English/Spanish) for Houston market Familiarity with estimating or project-management tools
Schedule & Work Environment

Typical schedule:

Monday-Friday, daytime

(occasional early/late as projects require) On-site role in our Houston shop with field visits for surveys/installs
Physical requirements

Occasionally lift up to 40-50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, use ladders/tape measures, and safely handle materials and packages
