Job Description

Fleming Island Golf Club is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming experience for all golfers by providing excellent customer service, efficiently handling sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized golf shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Support

Greet and assist members and guests in a professional and courteous manner. Answer questions related to tee times, merchandise, course policies, and general information. Provide guidance on golf course conditions, facility amenities, and upcoming events.

Tee Time Management

Book, update, and manage tee times using the point-of-sale and reservation system. Confirm tee times, check players in, and communicate course information.

Sales & Transactions

Ring in greens fees, merchandise, and other purchases accurately using POS software. Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions securely.

Merchandising & Inventory

Stock shelves, display merchandise, and maintain an orderly and attractive golf shop. Assist with inventory control and restocking procedures.

Facility Support

Ensure the golf shop remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times. Assist with opening and closing duties, including daily reports and reconciliation.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic math and computer proficiency (POS or tee sheet software experience preferred). Knowledge of golf operations and merchandise is a plus. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Professional appearance and demeanor.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
