The Golf Retail Associate is responsible for assisting the management in all day-to-day operations of the golf shop. They are responsible for registering golfers for play and promoting and selling merchandise.

  Observing guest reactions and conferring frequently with team members to ensure guest satisfaction.

  Maintain positive guest relations at all times. Resolve guest complaints to over-the-moon satisfaction.

  Provides outstanding service by greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining sales standards, and maintaining solid product knowledge.

  Finalizes customer purchases by ringing up sales.
• 
  Processes customer returns and exchanges in a prompt and efficient manner.
• 
  Accurately and efficiently completes all register transactions and maintains proper cash at the Point of Sale (POS) register.
• 
  Assists in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and resets, pricing, inventory, and store housekeeping to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, etc.
• 
  Assists in processing and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor by participating in receiving, tagging, and monitoring sales floor stock.
• 
  Adheres to approved loss prevention programs to minimize inventory shrinkage and to support and grow the sales/profitability of the store. Provide feedback to managers on loss prevention issues as needed.
• 
  Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service.
• 
  Maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
• 
  Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures, and standards.
