Overview

We are seeking a passionate and engaging Golf Instructor to join our team at our premier golf facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching, teaching, and working with diverse age groups. This role involves guiding students of all skill levels to improve their golf techniques while fostering a positive and motivating environment. Previous experience in lifeguarding, martial arts, or physical education is a plus, as well as experience working with children and managing behavior effectively. The Golf Instructor will play a vital role in enhancing our members' experience by providing expert instruction and personalized coaching. This will likely be a contractor/1099 job.

Responsibilities

Conduct individual and group golf lessons tailored to students' skill levels and goals Develop customized training programs to improve swing, stance, and overall game performance Demonstrate proper techniques and provide constructive feedback to students Ensure safety protocols are followed during all lessons and activities Maintain a positive, encouraging atmosphere that motivates learners of all ages Assist in organizing golf clinics, workshops, and special events Monitor student progress and adjust instruction methods accordingly Promote the facility's programs and services to encourage member participation

Experience

Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education is highly desirable Background in lifeguarding, swimming, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), cheerleading, climbing, or other athletic disciplines is a plus Experience working with children or in childcare environments is preferred Proven ability to manage behavior effectively and create an engaging learning environment Familiarity with health clubs or gym settings is advantageous Demonstrated success in working with students of various ages and skill levels Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners
