SUMMARY Take food and beverage orders, process payments for guests, and maintain the cleanliness of the dining room, patio, beverage carts and all areas of food and beverage operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following:
  • Ensures excellent quality food and beverages are served to all guests.
  • Follows all alcohol safety standards including checking identification to ensure the minimum drinking age requirements are met.
  • Maintains cleanliness standards for front counter area, condiment area, clubhouse dining room, and all tools necessary for the position.
  • Cooks and prepares food for guest in the golf grill.
  • Maintains accountability for all transactions conducted on the register according to Cherokee Nation Entertainment policy.
  • Takes guest orders and delivers orders to guests in the clubhouse dining room.
  • Maintains stock levels of all goods for condiment area, dining room, and front counter area for the next shift.
  • Upholds a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Operates beverage cart in a safe manner while serving guests on the course.
  • Performs financial transactions and processes guest payment for the goods and services delivered.
  • Provides a guest friendly environment.
  • Promotes the Big Six; encourages a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY No supervisory/management authority.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is an entry level position with little to no previous work experience required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to obtain a food handler\xe2\x80\x99s card.
  • Ability to obtain a state issued alcoholic beverage license.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Work may be performed in a variety of settings, including climate-controlled office settings and/or outdoors in all types of weather. Work requires standing for long periods of time which includes frequent bending and kneeling. Work requires lifting objects up to 50lbs. Work will require working varied shifts including, weekends and holidays, as needed.
