What You Will Achieve

The GMP Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring cleaning, trash disposal, and restocking gowning is completed in all production areas including upstream, downstream, production services, and other GMP manufacturing areas.

How You Will Achieve It

Supervises Cleaning Associates \xe2\x80\x93 observing/instructing, coaching, leading, and developing staff.

Performs cleaning activities per cGMPs, ensuring that reports are fully trained on a given activity prior to performing the activity.

Schedules and directs daily cleaning activities, timely communication of scheduling changes/issues to staff and management.

Coordinates cleaning activities with other departments. This includes providing updates to production schedulers, and working closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, facilities, and other relevant departments.

Understands and follows proper procedures with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and personal protective equipment (PPE).

Ensure associates adhere to SOP and cleaning practices.

Provide guidance (technical, quality, compliance) to the cleaning team.

Reviews cleaning log at the end of each shift to ensure associates adhere to GDP.

Responsible for reviewing, verifying, and archiving cleaning log to client Quality.

Responsible for verifying that the proper sanitization disinfectant rotation is followed, and that the proper sanitization disinfectant is used for each cleaning assignment.

Responsible for ensuring proper disposal of waste from GMP manufacturing process areas.

Responsible for resupplying the GMP area gowning.

Collaborate with Manufacturing, GMP Operations Manager, and Quality teams to manage schedules necessary to clean the GMP controlled environment and support areas to comply with GMP requirements.

Responsible to participate in cycle counting and inventory of sanitization supplies and gowning articles in order to maintain inventory levels for timely reordering.

Trains Cleaning Associates on process activities, including Safety requirements and cGMP requirements. Reviews safety records and identifies/implements corrective measures. Partner with trainers to ensure training needs for assigned staff are satisfied.

Flexibility to work 2nd shift if periodically required.

Adhere to established policies, procedures and practices.

Participate in investigations and continuous improvement initiatives, applying tools, to improve quality, cost, safety and/or cycle time. Participate in operational process improvements and ensure a safe work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must Have

Applicant must have a High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience OR an associates degree with 6 years of experience OR a bachelors with at least 3 years of experience OR Masters with more than 1 year of experience.

Leadership experience.

Previous experience cleaning GMP manufacturing facilities.

Experience in documenting and reviewing GMP documentation while adhering to GDP.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers.

Organization skills to prepare team for operating multiple projects.

Ability to successfully multitask, when required.

Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office Applications.

Nice to Have

4+ years of previous experience cleaning GMP manufacturing facilities.

2+ years of leadership experience

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Frequently lift, pushing and or move objects at least 30 pounds.

Stand/walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Ability to perform mathematical calculations.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8-hour 1st shift.

Ability to travel up to 10%.
