Summary
The Opportunity Hyatt Hotels Corporation seeks an enthusiastic Global Sales Coordinator to join our Hyatt Sales Force \xe2\x80\x93 Luxury, Lifestyle, and Leisure Americas team where you\xe2\x80\x99ll join a team of 21 sales professionals who are passionate about what they do. The Global Sales Coordinator will work in tandem with the Global Directors and Managers who implement and oversee the organization\xe2\x80\x99s sales strategy, strategic objectives, and tactics/initiatives for our Luxury, Lifestyle, and Leisure Accounts. This coordinator position will have an emphasis on luxury travel agencies, entertainment groups, transient leads, leisure tour operator businesses, and the connecting of RFPs to individual hotel properties. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Hyatt Sales Force and individual hotel teams where you\xe2\x80\x99ll be instrumental in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Global Sales Coordinator will assist the LLL Directors and Managers by efficiently providing support in the areas of the administrative process, reporting, account support, transient and group RFP processing, and maintaining sales files. They will execute the non-selling functions of the department to allow Directors and Managers to maximize time for soliciting and securing additional business.

The Role Responsibilities include working in tandem with the Global Directors and Managers who implement and oversee Hyatt\xe2\x80\x99s sales strategy, strategic objectives, and tactics/initiatives for our Luxury, Lifestyle, and Leisure team. This position will be responsible for supporting the development of long-term strategic global accounts/relationships with a focus on increasing revenue. New business development and brand awareness globally are also key to supporting our hotels through proactive sales missions, tradeshows/events, and hotel familiarization trips. This is a remote position and the individual reports directly to the Global Sales Directors and Managers \xe2\x80\x93 Luxury, Lifestyle, and Leisure Team.
  • Create and maintain systems to support multiple managers that will streamline efficiency and organization while promoting the goals of the team: strategic account/actions plan for each account that will include quota targets, customer engagement, key tactics to grow account revenue globally, annual & quarterly account reviews including regular reporting, promotions, and B2B marketing opportunities.
  • Collaborate enthusiastically with all stakeholders, internal hotel partners, external clients, and across HSF Coordinators and teams.
  • Communicate professionally both in writing and over the phone with clients to represent the brand and organization.
  • Utilize tools such as Envision, Tableau, and Cognos to prepare quarterly business review reports and analytics for Directors and Managers.
  • Manage RFPs from initial client inquiry to hotel follow-up, keeping up to date Envision notes and engaging with account managers to support areas of opportunity to close business and escalate any opportunities.
  • Ensure that Global Client Contacts, envision account ORGs and other administrative files are kept up to date and organized.
  • Ensure that Sales Contracts follow established Policies and Procedures and are based on sound commercial judgment.
  • Maintain an awareness of market developments/customer trends.
  • Assist visiting hotel representative\xe2\x80\x99s set-up appointments and Sales Calls.
  • Help to organize and coordinate the familiarization trips.
  • Prepare Monthly Activities Report, Production Report, and MICE Report when needed.
  • Very strong follow-up, organizational skills, adherence to timelines, and ability to manage their manager.
  • Must be a self-starter and capable of working independently.
  • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, good use of initiative, be a team player, be personable, discreet, and reliable.

Qualifications
Experience Required:
  • At least 3 years of related industry experience
  • Has worked within hotel sales operations
  • Experience successfully supporting multiple managers

Experience Preferred:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Hotels and Sales Practices
  • MS Office, Reserve, Opera, Oracle, Lanyon, and Envision preferred
  • Excited about luxury travel, entertainment travel, and creating memorable experiences
  • Has experience on site at lifestyle and luxury properties, as well as select service
  • Appreciates a good spreadsheet, pivot table, creative power points, canvas, and tools like survey monkey and Slido
