Troy is seeking a GIS Developer to be part of our growing project services team. This exciting opportunity provides for full lifecycle project services.

Your Responsibilities:

The GIS Developer responsibilities may include full or partial responsibility of the following assignments:

• Developing scripts in Python for automating GIS functions
• Developing workflows in FME to transit data between ArcGIS and other systems

• Building, updating and managing project-driven geodatabases, including SDE databases
• Creating, maintaining and distributing GIS data based on engineering input, as well as client/third-party needs
• Publishing and maintaining ArcGIS web-based map services and applications
• Producing extensive mapping and drawing packages and numerous other GIS mapping deliverables (e.g., pipeline alignment sheets, permit drawings, detail drawings, plans and profiles, location maps)
• Leading geospatial design and analysis to support the generation of development opportunities
• Leveraging standard ESRI GIS applications (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online), as well as custom/proprietary tools developed by Troy and/or clients
• Coordinating and verifying the quality of GIS data/operations for large engineering projects
• Collaborating with GIS team members on numerous work assignments in a proactive, client-oriented environment
• Expanding digital capabilities by exploring and integrating new technologies and software, plus developing new strategies to improve existing methods, tools and workflows

Position_Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with the ESRI software suite (ArcMap, ArcGIS pro, ArcGIS online)
• Proficiency in the implementation/configuration of ArcGIS enterprise (portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS for server, etc.)
• Programming experience including Python, SQL, JavaScript, FME, Arcade, HTML5
• Experience designing and developing ArcGIS Online web-based maps and applications
• Experience building, deploying, and supporting ESRI mobile applications such as Field Maps
• Experience with relational databases and database management, and/or managing GIS data within SQL server and/or PostgreSQL database environments
• Understanding of APIs and webhooks
• Value-added organizational, interpersonal and documentation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and PC skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment with significant collaboration, knowledge sharing and focus on customer service and continuous improvement?

Required Education/Experience

• GIS Certificate
• Completion of some college or Associate\xe2\x80\x99s degree in GIS, cartography, MIS or computer science
• Minimum of five (5) years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience
