Learning the duties of various roles in the breaker department. This position can work on moving materials one day and scrapping metal the next. This can be a seasonal, part-time, or full-time role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Be able to work indoors/outdoors
Be able to stand, walk, squat, and kneel throughout the shift
Must be able to speak English
Must be willing to learn new skills and advance in the company
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize spacing
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, kitting and picking processes.
Other duties, tasks, and work may be assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to maintain good housekeeping of designated work area.
Capable of lifting 50-pounts.
Use Pallet/Hand Jacks, box cutters, chop saw, and tape guns.
Detail oriented, great attitude, team player, well organized.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
Good time management skills; be able to multi-task
Able to work at fast pace
Work well in a team environment.
Able to maintain confidential information.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school or equivalent GED certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Occasional reaching/working overhead, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
Frequent walking
Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion
Lifting requirements include occasional lifting up to 75 pounds, frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and continuous lifting of up to 25 pounds.
SALARY RANGE INFORMATION:
The recruiting base salary range for this full time position is $37,440.00 - $45.760.00/year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
