We're seeking a dynamic Gantry/Short Blocking Operator. This is your opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-faced manufacturing environment.

Position Overview

Responsible for operating gantry systems and performing short blocking processes in foam manufacturing. Ensures accurate pouring, cutting, and handling of foam blocks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate gantry equipment for foam pouring and positioning. Perform short blocking by adjusting pour settings and cutting foam blocks to specified lengths. Monitor production line for proper foam density, size, and quality. Inspect equipment and perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and chemical handling procedures. Maintain accurate production records and communicate with supervisors regarding output and issues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in foam manufacturing or operating gantry systems preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Skills & Competencies:

Knowledge of foam production processes and equipment. Mechanical aptitude for operating gantry and cutting systems. Effective communication and teamwork skills.
