Job Overview

This job opening is for a full-time EMT-B who will be primarily stationed at our Clinton, OK location but may also be scheduled to work shifts at one of our other Oklahoma locations, on an as-need basis.

As an EMT-Basic, you will play a crucial role in providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in a rural community. Our company provides BLS/ALS 911 and interfacility transfer services to a large portion of Western Oklahoma.

Note: We are seeking to fill a permanent, full-time position. We are not considering contract or temporary employment arrangements at this time.

Duties

Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide high-quality prehospital care to patients. Assess patients' conditions and determine the appropriate course of action based on established protocols. Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed records of care provided. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in transport situations to ensure seamless patient transitions. Maintain equipment and supplies in compliance with safety standards and protocols. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other emergency personnel regarding treatment plans and patient status. Understand and comply with company policies and protocols.

Requirements

National Registry, OSDH, and all other standard required certifications for Basic EMT Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Proficiency in assessing vital signs and performing basic life support techniques Ability to work effectively under pressure Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical teams A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to industry standards EVOC or equivalent, with an acceptable driving record

Pay: From $74,256.00 per year
