Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answer multi-line phone system
Schedule appointments
Maintain written and computer records
Check clients in and out
Take payments
Discuss office protocols with clients
Willing to help technicians and kennel staff when needed
Receptionist experience in the veterinary field is preferred.
Compassionately greeting all incoming clients and helping them with their pets
Record keeping
Correspondence with clients
Assisting administrators in office tasks
Run reports and make calls with reminders and payments.
Applicants must:
Have a customer service background
Ability to do basic math calculations and comfortable using excel
Punctuality to scheduled shifts
Willing to learn all aspects of the job in a quickly and efficiently manner
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
Taking Initiative
Working well with a team
Responding well to constructive criticism
Having great communication skills
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds of weight and should be free from any prior back injuries.
