Overview
At Pyramid Global Hospitality, we put People First -- our associates, guests, and community. As part of our Executive Committee culture, we value collaboration, respect, and service excellence. The Marriott Colorado Springs is looking for a professional and observant Overnight Security Officer to ensure our guests and associates feel safe and supported during the overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Overnight Security Officer, you are responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for our guests, associates, and property. Your responsibilities will include:

• Patrolling & Monitoring

• Conduct routine patrols of guest corridors, public spaces, parking lots, and back-of-house areas.
• Monitor security cameras and alarms for unusual activity.
• Check doors, stairwells, and restricted areas to ensure they are secured.
• Guest & Associate Support

• Provide assistance to guests with lockouts, escorts, or safety-related concerns.
• Support associates during overnight operations, ensuring they feel safe while performing duties.
• Maintain a visible, approachable, and professional presence in guest areas.
• Incident Response & Reporting

• Respond promptly to disturbances, altercations, accidents, or medical emergencies.
• Administer first aid/CPR when needed until medical personnel arrive.
• Document all security incidents in detailed reports and submit to management.
• Notify law enforcement or emergency services as necessary and assist them on property.
• Safety & Emergency Preparedness

• Be fully trained and ready to act on fire alarms, evacuation procedures, and other emergencies.
• Enforce hotel policies regarding smoking, unauthorized access, and prohibited conduct.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or risks to management.
• Compliance & Integrity

• Maintain knowledge of Marriott brand standards and Pyramid Global safety protocols.
• Protect the confidentiality of guest and associate information at all times.
• Uphold the highest level of integrity and professionalism while handling sensitive situations.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
We're looking for someone who brings:

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• 1+ year of security experience or 3+ years of military service (preferred).
• Valid CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional under pressure.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and respond quickly during an 8-hour overnight shift.
• Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Overnight)

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hotel or hospitality security experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $18.00/Yr. - $18.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
