We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing Outpatient Physical Therapy Private Practice . This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery for diverse populations, including geriatrics, pediatrics, orthopedics and sports medicine. The Physical Therapist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. McLaughlin Physical Therapy has been serving the surrounding community for the past 17.5 years. Voted Honorable mention for Harford County's Best PT Practice the past three years in a row. We treat one patient per hour which allows our therapists to fully maximize their treatment skills. The focus in on quality of care and not quantity.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and overall function.
Educate patients and their families about treatment options, exercises, and home care strategies.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective discharge planning.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and outcomes.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices, medical terminology, and relevant systems.
Qualifications
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
New Grads welcome. Many mentors available.
Proficient in discharge planning processes to facilitate smooth transitions for patients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
