Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospice care, senior care, and trauma centers. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting the healthcare team by delivering essential nursing services and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments and medications. Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities. Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate records of patient conditions and treatments using ICD-10 coding standards. Educate patients and their families about health management, treatment plans, and medication administration. Assist in the operation of neonatal ventilators when necessary. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards to maintain a safe environment for patients. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance nursing skills.

Requirements

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in hospice care or working within a Level II Trauma Center is preferred. Strong knowledge of patient care practices and medication administration protocols. Familiarity with ICD-10 coding is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment.
