Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM 1/2 hour lunch work schedule with 8 paid holidays
General Summary
: A nonexempt position responsible for telephone intake for the entire practice. Utilizing exceptional customer service skills to service patient, potential patient, solicitor, physician, clinician, and organization visitor needs.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Customer Service experience
Call center/switchboard operator experience preferred

Essential Job Functions:
Handles all incoming calls to practice.
Routes calls to appropriate individual; offering redirection as needed.
Responds to calls efficiently while providing excellent customer service skills.
Schedules appointments for patients through phone and electronic system.
Greets visitors and assists them as appropriate and screens solicitors for relevance.
Takes messages for incoming patient calls regarding concerns and problems. Directs messages to the appropriate physician, clinician, or medical assistant.
Calls patients to confirm upcoming appointments and relays any important appointment information and/or practice procedure.
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
Other tasks as designated by Practice Administrator.
