Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Childcare Assistant to join our team. This position is responsible for providing quality care and supervision for children in our facility. The successful candidate ensures the safety and well-being of the children at all times and assists them in activities such as playing, learning, and developing their skills. This role also keeps the facility clean and organized.

Childcare Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for the children Supervise and monitor the safety of the children at all times Assist in activities including playing, learning, and developing skills Prepare meals and snacks for the children Change diapers and help with potty training Ensure that the facility remains clean and organized Participate in educational and recreational activities with the children Administer first aid and perform CPR when needed Communicate with parents and other staff members
Childcare Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience with childcare, preferably in a formal setting First Aid and CPR certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to multitask and remain organized Patient and nurturing demeanor Able to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
