Vivacity Tech is growing and adding a new Full Stack Developer to our Development team!
The Full Stack Developer will assist in developing, testing, implementing, and improving our exciting new Greenfield project consisting of an asset management system platform and ERP. The Full Stack Developer will ensure all software development tasks and projects are completed on time and to company specifications.

While no day will be completely the same, you will execute daily responsibilities in these various functions:

• Assist the development team lead in managing parts of the software development process and parts of the software development team.
• Understand and develop advanced web software applications on the frontend and backend
• Execute website and asset management development projects in accordance with specifications and timelines set forth
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technology and best practices in website, application design, and development
• Perform other duties as assigned by Senior Full Stack Developer or Development Team Lead

Education and Experience we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience required
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, especially in a remote, international environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in an understandable and concise way
• Proficiency in Node.js
• Proficiency in React.js
• Extensive experience with testing JavaScript code (on the frontend and/or backend) using Mocha or Jest
• Fluency with markup and programming languages, including HTML, Javascript, and CSS
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Ability to take on any challenge, problem-solve any issue, and figure out any task
• Expert technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot, assist, and train others
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
• Extremely proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software

Who you will report to: Nathan enjoys carpentry, strategy board games, and can tie a neck tie super fast.

Preferred locations for remote employees are: Minnesota, Colorado, Illinois, South Carolina, Florida, Idaho or Maine.
