Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Full Stack Backbone JavaScript Developer to join our growing company. As a Full Stack JavaScript developer, you will need to have excellent attention to detail and the ability to think logically, as well as be able to apply software design patterns and best practices to develop bespoke solutions to project requirements.

Our Stack

On the front end we're using Backbone, jQuery, HTML/CSS. We use Node / Express for our API with a MongoDB database. We utilize Bitbucket, Heroku and AWS with an automated CI process for rapid scale and easy deployment.

Responsibilities

You'll be working to deploy new features, fix bugs, and maintaining the current code base on our existing web application while ensuring the app is functioning properly.

- Development of new features

- Testing / Bug fixes / Quality Assurance

- Designing user interactions on web pages.

- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.

- Ensuring cross-platform optimization

- Working alongside UX Designers and the product development team

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

- 5+ years of Javascript development experience

- 2+ years of BackboneJS experience

- Strong CSS / HTML skills

- Strong jQuery skills

- Experience working with MongoDB

- Experience with NodeJS / Express

- Experience working with component based web apps

- Experience building web applications in a team environment, not just websites

- Experience with Bitbucket a plus

- College degree or equivalent experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
